Processing – equipping and enhancing
We assemble your magazines with applicators, response elements, personal letters or product samples to suit the recipient and make them into effective mailings. Our stapling and binding procedures allow you to regionalise part runs and reliably combine – by video control – personalised part products with individual mailings.
Gang stitching
The schlott group registers up to 5,000,000 gang stitchings in a single day. More than 1,000,000,000 gang stitchings are performed annually. Gang stitching is particularly suited to magazine and catalogue production or advertising material with a large print runs. We usually implement the grommet stapling method. Gluing onto cards and product samples, the use of fold feeders and selective control of the inserts complete our offer in this field. Our gang stitching is linked to a supplementary inserting machine. You can choose between cross stringing or foil wrapping. The maximum product strength is 16 mm.
Adhesive binding
We manufacture up to 2,600,000 adhesive bindings daily for print products with top print runs and a total of 300,000,000 annually. The method we employ includes the Flexstabil and block processes, the double usage procedure “coming and going” and the cut template unit. We process labelled envelopes and can insert supplements inline, or with cross string and foil wrap. The product strength is anywhere between 2.5 mm and 60 mm.
Assembling
With feeders, response elements, personal letters or product samples geared to the recipient, we assemble your magazines and catalogues into complete deliveries. We can also produce magazine envelopes that will surprise your customer with a gift CD or DVD and create book volumes that are convincing in every respect.
Welded plastic covers
We carry out up to 1,700,000 individually shrink-wrap covers in the schlott group every day – this results in an annual top performance of 90,000,000. Wrapping your print media in clear plastic is an attractive as well as economic packaging solution.
