• 1947 Friedrich Schlott establishes schlott in Freudenstadt as a book printer. Three years later the first intaglio sheet rotation machine starts running.
  
  
• 1992 there is a management-buy-out and Schlott Tiefdruck KG in converted into a GmbH.
  
  
• 1996 schlott takes over Klambt-Druck GmbH, which then changes to wwk druck GmbH 
  
  
• 1997 schlott becomes a public company and the first German intaglio printing shop is listed on the stock exchange.
  
  
• 2000 the Sebaldus group and the schlott AG in Freudenstadt join forces, initially under the name schlott sebaldus AG, which then becomes the schlott gruppe in 2003.
  
  
• 2001 the schlott sebaldus AG spins off its production operations in Freudenstadt: it becomes an independent intaglio printer in the business branch schlott print and operates under the trustworthy name “schlott GmbH”
  
  
• 2006 the highly flexible intaglio machine M 12 is taken into operation.
