Freudenstadt, July 31, 2007. schlott gruppe today announced the completion of the sale of its former direct marketing unit. Thus, effective from August 1, 2007, these activities have been transferred to Österreichische Post AG.
In closing the transaction, schlott gruppe has been able to realise hidden reserves, scale back bank borrowings by a considerable margin and unlock management capacity. The resources are to be used for the purpose of gaining additional momentum in the European printing market and thus further extending schlott gruppe's leading position.
